* Pushkar Cattle Fair/ Pushkar Mela:
Primarily started as a camel fair in Pushkar, Rajasthan; the Pushkar Mela is now a bonanza of art, music, dance, puppet shows, gipsy dance, races and all the ethnicity of Rajasthan. Usually held in the months of October-November, the Pushkar Fair is a delight to your eyes and heart. It’s a five-day festival, held on the banks of Pushkar Lake, on Ekadashi according to the Hindu calendar.

* Teej Festival, Jaipur:
Held in the advent of the monsoon, the Teej festival is celebrated in commemoration of woman's love for her husband. It's a festival for the women folks especially. So all you ladies, enjoy the long swing rides, Mehandi designs on your hands, songs and dances, and bright colourful festive attires. It also greets your taste-buds with special Marwari delicacies of Ghewar and Malpua. Be there to grease your sweet-tooth.

* Desert Festival Rajasthan:
The Desert Festival a bonanza to celebrate the delights of the desert. It’s a 3-day event organized by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and is held in the month of February. It celebrates the delights of the desert with singing and dancing and a presentation of rituals like camel races, gymnastic stunts, turban tying etc. Also, artists dressed in vibrant colours are a delight to your very soul.
